Ald. Knudsen Launches Closing Campaign Ad: “Priorities”
Final Ad Highlights Alderman’s Commitment to Reducing Crime and Bringing Fiscal Stability to Our City
Chicago — In his closing campaign ad ahead of the April 4th runoff election, Ald. Knudsen highlights the pragmatic approach he’s taken as alderman and his top two priorities of public safety and fiscal responsibility.
“Over the last six months, I’ve been laser focused on delivering results on public safety and fiscal responsibility, two issues that matter most to 43rd Ward voters,” said Ald. Timmy Knudsen. “As alderman, I’ve taken a holistic approach to reducing crime by sponsoring several safety ordinances and investing in cameras from the ward office and anti-violence programs through the city budget. We can’t rely on homeowners every time the city has a budget gap, which is why I blocked several property tax increases. This pragmatic approach is what I hope to continue to bring to City Council over the next four years.”
“Priorities” Script: “We need to reduce crime and bring fiscal stability to our city. And those have been my first priorities as alderman. I'm a pro-business progressive. I want to bring a pragmatic approach that focuses on building consensus and getting things done. Vote Timmy on Tuesday, April 4th.”
Alderman Knudsen will cast his ballot at the Old Town Triangle Association (1763 N North Park Ave) at 7:30 a.m. and hold an election night watch party at Blue Door Farm Stand (2010 N Halsted St) when the polls close at 7:01 p.m. A full Election Day schedule will be released Monday evening.
